Gate of Oneness - What can we say about the spirit?

Tricia and I just spent our first day at the Key West Literary Seminar. This year's theme is "how the light gets in."

There was a troubling panel hosted by Coleman Barks and Robert D. Richardson, both brilliant men and fantastic poets. I don't know what happened... whether they were truly stymied by the word 'spirit' or that they just didn't prepare.

There was a lot of empty space...

So I'm putting it out there... What can we say about the spirit? What is it?
